Description:

Situated in the heart of Skid Row, Yankee Hotel provides 80 units (56 of which will be subsidized) of safe, supportive single resident occupancy housing for formerly homeless men and women.

The 4-story exterior façade incorporates portions of the existing brick building with new windows and glass block accents. Units have a private bathroom and small kitchen. Related ground floor amenities such as laundry, a community room with warming kitchen, classroom and case manager's office are grouped around a landscaped courtyard. Parking is provided in Yankee was recently recognized by the Downtown Breakfast Club with a 2006-2007 Rose Award.
