The City of Los Angeles is doubling the amount of low-income housing units at the current Jordan Downs site from 700 units to 1,400 units.
No current residents are being displaced and a there is a local hire program in place for the buildout.
115,000 square feet of retail will also be added as well as park space and a 50,000 square foot community center.
Jordan downs is a 4.2 acre site separated into 5 blocks, consisting of sixteen 3-story residential structures all slab on grade with an ancillary site structures.
