The Star Apartments is supportive housing in downtown Los Angeles. The project was constructed on top of an existing one-story retail building, which is was gutted and renovated to support the structure above. 102 units of housing occupy the upper floors, utilizing modular construction with units that were built off-site and trucked in and then craned into place. Rooftop decks provide additional recreation space.
